For Phoebe's 15th birthday, she wanted a quiet party with a few of her friends. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and had a few of Phoebe's favorite sides. To finish off the meal, Carvel ice cream cake, yum!! Several of the girls slept over. They played a few games and watched movies. Thank goodness for our basement!!
Because Phoebe's actual birthday fell on a Monday (The DMV is closed on Monday), she couldn't get her permit until the day after her 15th birthday. We took Madelynn and Colin to school and off we went to take her written test for her permit, which she passed (of course)!!
Afterwards, I took her shopping so she could spend some of her birthday money and treated her to Olive Garden, one of our fav's (for the salad anyway). Oh yeah, she had her first "driving experience" when we left Barnes & Noble; she managed to reverse and drive out of the parking lot. Much credit due, the suburban is not the easiest vehicle to maneuver.

Madelynn was upset
We told Victoria to only hunt a specific color egg. Madelynn was mad because she couldn't hunt for those eggs also. She made out like a bandit, $14.00, enough for 2 trips to McDonalds!
